Whether you have horses, dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, fish, or other animals, they all benefit and respond well to Reiki.
Remarkable results have been documented. In fact, Reiki can help any animal in the same way as it can help humans.
Reiki can be given to animals when they are ill; when they are young, old, or dying; and when they have been through a trauma, or simply have problems adjusting to their new environment or home.
Animals differ in their responsiveness to Reiki depending on their illness and personality. Reiki treatments can be given either directly (hands on body); or with hands above the body; or through beaming or using distant Reiki techniques.
As Reiki is safe and natural, using 'chi' or 'universal life-force energy', there is no danger or adverse side effects - although, as with humans, sometimes a 'healing crisis' or 'break-through' can occur after a Reiki treatment which can last from a couple of minutes to a few days. This can be concerning, and you may think your pet has in fact got worse...but it is just the energy moving through the animal and you can expect an improvement once this has passed.
It can take just one Reiki treatment to make your animal feel better and see an improvement - or it could take several regularly scheduled sessions. Each animal and their condition is unique in their requirements, and is dependent on the underlying cause.
Reiki is a holistic, energy based, light-touch therapy that uses universal life-force energy to promote natural healing and balance within the body. Through a series of hand positions on, or slightly above the body, energy is channelled from the practitioner’s hands and drawn into the recipients body. The energy then flows through the body to the area where it is most needed (whether it is on an emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual level), re-establishing the flow of energy, thus balancing and realigning your pets body energy systems.
Reiki is a natural healing that is not associated with any religion. It can be used along with any clinical or holistic practice.

Healing Light & Purification is pleased to offer Reiki Healing Classes ranging from Reiki Children's Level to Reiki Master Level. A schedule of classes are provided below and can also be found on the applicable Calendar of Events. Other Workshops and Classes offered may be found Here.

Reiki Level Two is designed for those who have received their Reiki Level One Certification and are interested in furthering their training to learn the Reiki symbols and how to use them, as well as for those who wish to advance their studies and become a Reiki Master/Teacher. This Reiki Level Two class provides you the necessary training and tools to become a Reiki Practitioner upon completion and certification of this program.
Reiki Level Two is designed to help you learn the symbols taught by Mikao Usui, and will further enhance the Reiki energy flow, allowing you to use it in many different ways. Upon completion of the program you will be a Reiki Practitioner enabling you to offer treatments that promote healing on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, and will also have the ability to provide distant/remote healing.
Class instruction includes:
~ Learning the first three Usui Reiki symbols for
mental, emotional, distant and more
powerful healing methods.
~ Learn practical applications for each of the
symbols
~ Receive Level 2 Usui Reiki attunement (to the

The Reiki Master course is designed for those who wish to teach traditional Usui Reiki. The pre-requisite for taking this class is certification in Reiki Level 1 & Reiki Level 2. This class will provide you with the necessary training and tools needed to successfully teach Usui Reiki.
Class instruction includes:
~ Learning the last Usui Master symbol
~ Practice drawing this symbol
~ Learning how to apply and use the Master
symbol
~ Receiving Usui Reiki Master level attunement
~ Hands-on experience practicing all the Reiki
attunements, including the Master attunement
~ How to teach each Reiki level
~ Receive Certificate of completion and a CD
containing class material
~ Receive on-going support
