Traditionally, we are used to thinking of healing as a practice only possible through medicine, surgery, and prescription, and because of this we have forgotten that our bodies heal naturally; i.e. a scab forming over a cut, or a bruise healing over time. Our bodies have a natural ability to heal as it is written in our genetic code. Given the right nutrition, energy, and emotional environment, our cells carry out this healing process. However, due to the large amount of toxins (in our everyday environment) depleting energy, it has become harder for our bodies to remember this natural healing process. Physics has shown us that every object and living thing vibrates at a certain frequency, as do our emotions, as well as our physical and mental states of being. Science has proven that when two objects of different frequencies are placed together, by resonance, the lower frequency will rise to match the higher frequency, while the object of higher frequency is not depleted or lowered in energy. This same principle applies to the body; when the body is in good health it is vibrating at a high frequency. However, physical, mental, and emotional sickness lowers this vibrational energy, depleting the energy within the cells and thus disrupting body functions and the natural healing the body is normally capable of.
Richard Gordon, a best-selling author and impassioned promoter of Life-Force Science, founded Quantum-Touch®: a non-intrusive, hands-on, natural healing that uses life-force energy to help raise the vibrational frequency in a person or animal. By combining a variety of breathing and body awareness techniques, practitioners focus and amplify the life-force energy, using their hands to create a field of high frequency energy, holding it over an area of stress, inflammation, disease, or illness. The lower vibration of the client's body will naturally respond, through resonance and entrainment, and increase to match the high vibration of the energy field held by the practitioner. This is referred to as 'Quantum' Healing because in order for healing to take place on the visible level of matter, subatomic molecules must be altered first. Then, like the ripples on a pond, the change on the quantum level changes the atomic level, which in turn affects the molecules, cells, tissues, and so on, until the healing is visible in the bone, skin, and organs. Noticeable healing can take place within a few minutes, an hour, or sometimes after a couple of sessions. Many of the results are absolutely amazing!
Quantum-Touch® has also been tested on patients under anaesthetic (where psychological activity is at an unconscious state), and has been found to promote healing even in these situations. This shows that it is not the mind-set of the individual that results in the healing, but is in fact the vibrational energy field created by the practitioner that is picked up by the individual.

While receiving treatment some drift off and fall asleep, while for many it feels as if they are moving into a fast and deep meditation and relaxation. At the very least, you can expect to feel calm, relaxed and peaceful while receiving your treatment. As such, it is important that you take a few minutes to come back into full awareness after the session. It may help to sit for several minutes and drink a glass of cold water, or place your feet firmly on the floor to help ground yourself.
